Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled 'Door Fitter' to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of garage doors and related automation, aswell as fitting Outdoor Living solutions. Your expertise will ensure our customers receive top-quality service and durable solutions. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects with a reputable company committed to excellence.

Duties

Install, repair and service garage doors, roller doors and automation
Install Outdoor Living solutions, such as awnings, pergolas and verandas.
Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during installation and repair tasks
Read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and installation instructions
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and to high standards
Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and quality standards

Skills

Proven experience in carpentry, pvc finishing and sealing.
Fair knowledge of electrical systems related to automation and garage door motors
Skilled in use of all usual hand tools and power tools
Ability to read schematics and technical drawings accurately
Knowledge of safety procedures related to construction work
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
