As part of our continued expansion, we are looking to recruit a dynamic Sales Manager to lead and develop our sales team.
This is a full-time, office-based position.
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced leader to manage a team of sales professionals and review consultants, ensuring exceptional performance while maintaining the highest standards of customer satisfaction. Operating within a regulated environment, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance while optimizing sales through expert knowledge and advanced sales techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
Leading by example, showcasing excellence in sales and creating a culture of continuous improvement. Supporting the team in developing confidence and competence in their roles while maintaining a customer-focused approach.
Providing hands-on coaching by actively demonstrating and reviewing calls to refine the sales process.
Establishing and achieving sales, efficiency, and quality targets in alignment with business objectives.
Cultivating a high-energy, motivational sales environment that drives performance and success.
Contributing to the company’s strategic direction by providing insights and data-driven recommendations.
Analyzing performance data to identify trends and implementing solutions to address any challenges.
Supporting the development of sales team members through structured training, call assessments, and personalized coaching.
Ensuring strict adherence to regulatory requirements by consistently monitoring, evaluating, and demonstrating compliance standards.
Introducing new products and procedures, ensuring all sales professionals are fully trained and equipped to apply their knowledge effectively.
Driving team development through planning, staff retention, and productivity management.
Managing leave and absence’s , addressing any concerns with empathy while ensuring business continuity.

Candidate Requirements:
A minimum of three years’ experience in a sales management role within a regulated, B2C financial services outbound call centre.
A solid track record of driving results through a team, ideally within the life protection sector (experience in both advised and non-advised sales is highly desirable).
Proven ability to develop and mentor sales teams through practical, hands-on leadership.
Strong understanding of customer service best practices, regulatory guidelines (including FCA and Consumer Duty), and compliance frameworks.
Expertise in performance management, sales strategies, and team motivation techniques.
A natural leader who can inspire and guide others towards shared goals.
The ability to provide documented evidence of past successes and key achievements.
