Constantly highlighted by tour agents and Golfing journalists as a must see/play Golf Course, we welcome visitors from across the world. The majority of visiting golfers like to purchase a momento featuring the infamous “3 herring” Club logo, whilst our members often seek more specific golf ecquipment. We pride ourselves on delivering excellent customer service and stocking high-quality golf apparel, equipment, and accessories.
We are currently looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Retail Assistant to join our Pro Shop team.
Key Responsibilities:
· Greeting members and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
· Assisting customers with golf equipment, clothing, and accessory purchases
· Processing sales and handling cash/card transactions
· Managing tee time bookings and general enquiries
· Restocking shelves and maintaining attractive merchandise displays
· Assisting with stock control and deliveries
· Supporting club competitions and events
Requirements:
· Previous retail or customer service experience preferred but not essential
· Knowledge of golf products and equipment is an advantage
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Confident handling payments and using POS systems
· Flexible availability, including weekends and peak golf seasons
· Positive, team-oriented attitude
