Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive E-Commerce Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of e-commerce operations, including warehouse management and logistics. This role will involve managing online inventory, processing orders, and ensuring timely shipping and receiving of products. The E-Commerce Specialist will play a crucial role in optimising our online sales processes and enhancing customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the e-commerce platform, ensuring accurate product listings and stock levels.
- Process incoming orders efficiently, coordinating with the warehouse for timely fulfilment.
- Handle shipping and receiving tasks, including the use of warehouse management systems.
- Conduct regular inventory checks to maintain accurate stock levels and prevent discrepancies
- Operate forklifts safely for materials handling within the warehouse environment.
- Perform lifting as necessary, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to improve operational efficiency within the warehouse.
- Maintain clear communication with suppliers and logistics partners regarding order status.
Experience
- Previous experience in an e-commerce or warehouse environment is preferred but training can be given.
- Proven ability to handle materials effectively, including experience in stock management and heavy lifting.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in managing inventory and order processing.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
