Job Title: Retail Sales Associate - Seasonal Post
Location: Llangefni
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday To Friday. Standard hours are 9 a.m. to
5 p.m. but will be flexible depending on demand. Saturday morning work may be required on occasion from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour.
About Us: Brodwaith is a leading specialist in work wear and school wear operating out of our two branches in Llangefni and Pentrefoelas in North Wales. We supply branded workwear to companies and individual clients in various industries both locally and further afield, as well as school wear to schools and colleges throughout North Wales. We also have a retail shop at our Llangefni branch stocking predominantly off-the-peg school wear as well as offering a walk-in service for clients wishing to place orders on specific branded garments. We strive to be our clients’ first choice supplier through providing a first class customer experience from order through to completion.
The Role: Working in our shop at our Llangefni branch, you will have a central role in providing exceptional service to customers face to face as well as over the phone and by email, assisting with the smooth running of the shop and the customer order process. You will be a confident, self starting, friendly and engaging person with a keen eye for detail. You will be able to work on your own initiative and be effective unsupervised and as part of a team. This role is a temporary position in order to help cover the busy summer holiday season.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greeting customers as they enter the shop
- Answering telephone enquiries and action or forward to colleagues
- Taking and processing orders through the in-house ordering system
- Accurately processing cash and card payments
- Dealing with customer complaints and escalating where necessary
- Helping with stock management and control
- Helping to manage goods in and organising outgoing deliveries
- Keeping the shop clean and tidy at all times
- Provide administration support as and when required.
