Full job description

The Solar Labourer will support qualified installers and electricians on-site with the physical and practical aspects of installing solar panels and battery systems. No prior solar experience is required, but a good attitude, physical fitness, and basic tool use are essential.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with carrying, lifting, and moving solar panels and mounting equipment
Set up and clear down job sites (scaffolding, tools, waste)
Help assemble mounting systems and railings on roofs
Support the solar installers with panel placement and fixings
Ensure work areas are kept clean, safe, and tidy
Follow instructions from electricians and supervisors
Comply with health & safety procedures, including PPE and fall protection
Load/unload materials from vans and help with general logistics

This can progress to become a full solar panel installer over time.

Pay: £500.00 per week

Licence/Certification:

Driving Licence (required)

Work Location: On the road
