Do you have a passion for numbers and a keen eye for detail? Are you looking to start a career in Finance?

We’re looking for an enthusiastic Finance Officer to join our Accountancy team and play a key role in supporting Finance Business Partners and Finance Managers across all Council service areas. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience and qualifications in a dynamic environment and contribute to services that make a real difference in our community.

What you’ll do:

Assist in providing a full range of professional accountancy services to Senior Managers.
Support budget preparation, monitoring and control of central support budgets.
Provide financial advice, reports, and costings to help shape service plans.
Work on year-end processes and grant returns.
