We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Wellbeing Coordinator to join our team in providing exceptional and imaginative care in our fabulous new care home. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in promoting the physical, emotional, and social wellbeing of residents. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement personalised wellbeing programmes tailored to individual resident needs .
- Coordinate activities that promote mental stimulation, physical activity, and social interaction among residents.
- Monitor residents’ health status and liaise with healthcare professionals to ensure appropriate support is provided.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, ensuring their dignity and independence are maintained.
- Maintain accurate records of resident progress and programme outcomes.
- Collaborate with family members, staff, and external agencies to optimise resident wellbeing strategies.
- Requirements
- Be able to provide a totally person centred care and support.
- Prior experience in assisted living or nursing home environments is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and organisational imaginative skills with the ability to engage effectively with residents, families, and team members.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine interest in improving the quality of life for older adults.
- Ability to organise activities that cater to diverse needs and abilities of residents.
- A recognised qualification in health or social care is preferred but not mandatory. This role offers an enriching environment where your skills can directly enhance the lives of our residents through dedicated wellbeing support.
Pay: £14.05 per hour
