Job Title: Automotive Painter / Vehicle Refinisher

Location: [Porth, UK]
Job Type: Full-time / Permanent
Salary: negotiable depending on experience
Start Date: Immediate Start Available

About the Role:

We are currently looking for an experienced Automotive Painter / Prepper to join our busy and professional bodyshop team. You'll be working on a range of vehicles, carrying out high-quality paintwork as part of accident repairs, resprays, or restorations.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work, has a good eye for detail, and wants to be part of a well-established and growing company in the motor trade.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepping vehicles for paintwork (filler, sanding, masking)
Mixing and matching colours to manufacturer specifications
Applying primers, basecoats, and clearcoats using spray guns
Polishing and finishing to a high standard
Inspecting completed jobs for quality assurance
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Requirements:

Proven experience as an Automotive Painter / Vehicle Refinisher (3+ years preferred)
NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Vehicle Refinishing or equivalent (ATA accreditation a bonus)
Excellent knowledge of paint systems and application techniques
Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines without compromising quality
Full UK driving licence preferred
