We are currently seeking a reliable, organised, and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at a prestigious holiday park in Shrewsbury.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous housekeeping supervisory experience who is confident leading a team, supporting the Housekeeping Manager, and taking responsibility for the operation during the manager's days off.
You will play a key role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation across the park by supervising the housekeeping team, carrying out accommodation inspections, supporting cleaners, and assisting with lodge cleaning when required.
Please note: Own transport is essential due to the location of the site.
The Role
As Housekeeping Supervisor, you will support the Housekeeping Manager in the day-to-day running of the housekeeping operation. You will help organise workloads, oversee cleaning schedules, coordinate team rotas, and ensure all accommodation is prepared to the highest standard for guest arrivals.
You will lead by example, working alongside the team when needed while ensuring quality standards are consistently achieved across the park.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with staff rotas and daily work allocation
- Supervising and supporting the housekeeping team
- Cleaning and inspecting holiday lodges and safari tents
- Preparing and organising cleaning products, equipment, and supplies
- Supporting team members with day-to-day operational requirements
- Motivating the team to ensure all accommodation is ready for the 3pm guest check-in
- Carrying out quality inspections to ensure company standards are met
- Using reporting systems accurately and efficiently
- Monitoring property inventories and reporting missing or damaged items
- Completing administrative tasks when covering for the Housekeeping Manager
- Managing changeover days and overseeing operations in the manager's absence
- Providing regular updates to the Housekeeping Manager on performance and site requirements
Working Hours
- Typically 9:00am to 3:00pm / 4:00pm
- Flexible working pattern across a 7-day operation
- Key working days are Monday, Friday, and Sunday
- Additional shifts may be available
