Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychologist specialising in therapy to join our team. The successful candidate will provide psychological assessments, therapeutic interventions, and support to a diverse young people, including children and individuals with disabilities. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on childrens mental health and well-being within a supportive and professional environment.

Duties

Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and develop tailored treatment plans.
Deliver individualised therapy sessions, including behavioural, cognitive, and developmental approaches.
Work closely with children,families, and multidisciplinary teams to support behavioural and emotional development.
Engage in clinical research activities to enhance therapeutic practices and outcomes.
Support children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental conditions through specialised interventions.
Maintain detailed records of childs progress and treatment outcomes in accordance with professional standards.
Collaborate with educational staff and caregivers to implement effective strategies within specialised education settings.
Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and ongoing professional development programmes.

Experience

Proven experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and EBD
Experience working with children, including those requiring special education support.
Knowledge of clinical research methodologies related to psychological therapies is advantageous.
Prior experience in working with individuals with behavioural challenges or developmental delays is desirable.
Relevant qualifications in psychology or therapy recognised by professional bodies are essential for this role. This position offers a rewarding opportunity for professionals committed to improving mental health outcomes through compassionate care and innovative therapeutic techniques.
