Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled car & commercial tyre fitter. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and a passion for providing excellent customer service. You will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and installation of tyres on various vehicles including commercial vehicles, ensuring safety and performance standards are met.
Responsibilities
- Inspect and assess tyre condition, including tread depth and wear patterns.
- Remove and install tyres using hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Perform wheel alignments and balancing to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining tyre options and services to clients.
- Assist with heavy lifting of tyres and equipment as required.
- Keep accurate records of services performed on each vehicle.
Experience
- Previous experience in tyre fitting is essential
- Full clean driving license necessary
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively.
- Experience in customer service roles is advantageous, demonstrating strong communication skills.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as part of daily tasks.
