Full job description

Main Responsibilities and Duties:

Operation:

1. To undertake front of house duties, including meeting, greeting and attending to the needs of guests, to ensure a superb customer service experience
2. Manages and motivates front office teams to provide high quality services for guests
3. Ensures the department meets its quantitative and qualitative targets
4. Implements the Brand and Group projects and identifies features
5. Ensure that the hotel’s pricing policy is correctly applied (price value, start and end of price validity)
6. Keeps the database up to date
7. Ensures that guest documentation and information is available and up to date
8. Draws up the rules and processes governing overbooking and the removal of guests from rooms
9. Ensures that internal audit procedures are duly applied
10. Develops employees’ motivation and team spirit by creating a good working atmosphere
11. Takes part in or validates recruitments
12. Organizes the welcome and integration of new employees
13. Assists with creating and/or checks work schedules in line with activity forecasts
14. Draws up the training plan and follows up implementation
15. Overlook and maintain all aspects of Weekly, monthly and annual Health & Safety including food hygiene.
16. To carry out monthly stock takes
17. To undertake and assist with general office duties such as reception including but not exhaustive correspondence, emails, switchboard, to ensure the smooth running of the reception.
18. To adhere to all fire safety test procedures and to assist in the evacuation process in the event of fire.
19. To undertake any other duties as required, bar, restaurant, reception, housekeeping

Customer Relation:

1. Maintains close relationships with guests throughout their stay in order to foster loyalty 2. Anticipates guests’ needs and takes them into consideration
3. Handles guests’ complaints if they have not been dealt with by the team members and provides a rapid solution
4. Conveys the hotel’s image

Commercial/Sales

1. To carry out any reasonable duties as specified by the Directors

3. All management and staff are required to make themselves available for training and communication meetings, for which advance notice will normally be given.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £45,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
