Here at Electricity Asset Services (EAS), we are currently looking for an Assistant Project Manager to join our family run business. Your contractual place of work is in our Head Office, Lochgelly. Due to the nature of our business, your normal day-to-day work will primarily be carried out at customer and project sites across Central Scotland. Site locations are determined by operational requirements and may change during your employment.This is a full-time position, working 45 hours per week.
Who we are
EAS specialise in procurement, design, management and execution of all works associated with High and Low voltage underground electricity networks on behalf of major framework contractors and Distribution Network Operators (DNO’s).
We have over 40 years combined experience specific to our services offered such as HV/LV cable jointing and terminating, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, 24 hours emergency call out, project management and more. Our purpose is to positively contribute to the electrical industry- providing value to our clients, customer and our people.
Purpose
As Assistant Project Manager, you’ll support the successful delivery of essential infrastructure projects — helping to plan, coordinate, and monitor works from start to finish. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in project coordination, administration, or site support who’s ready to take the next step into a hands-on project management role.

Overview of main duties and responsibilities
· Support Project Managers with planning, scheduling, and daily coordination of projects
· Monitor project progress and assist with reporting on key milestones and deliverables
· Maintain accurate project documentation, registers, and logs
· Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and internal departments to keep work on track
· Support compliance with health and safety, quality, and regulatory standards
· Attend site visits, project meetings, and audits as required
· Help ensure that all works are delivered on time, within scope, and to budget
· Any other duties as reasonably required

Experience and Job Knowledge
Essential
- Previous experience in project coordination, project administration, site support, or a junior project management role
- Experience working within utilities, construction, infrastructure, engineering, or a similar operational environment
- Understanding of project planning, scheduling, and reporting processes
- Knowledge of health and safety requirements within a site-based environment
- Good understanding of project documentation, trackers, registers, and compliance records
- Competent in the use of Microsoft Office packages, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook
Desirable
- Understanding of HV/LV electrical works or utility projects
- Familiarity with Distribution Network Operators (DNOs) and framework contractor environments
- Experience using project management systems, planning tools, or reporting software
- Relevant qualifications in project management, construction, engineering, or business administration
