Job Introduction

Join Our Team as a Janitor.

Salary: £13.30 per hour
Hours: 40 hours per week
Working: Monday to Friday – dayshift 0600-1430 /mid shift 0900-1730 & backshift 1300-2130
Must have full UK driving licence
Free parking onsite

As a Janitor at Sodexo in Anstruther Primary School, St Andrews Road, Anstruther, KY10 3JS, you will become an integral part of a team that promotes growth and development throughout the organization. This role requires exceptional interpersonal skills to foster strong relationships with fellow team members and patrons, ensuring that your everyday actions make a meaningful impact. About the role:

What you’ll do:

Managing Security: Oversee the security of the building and key management.
Safety Checks: Conduct water temperature checks onsite to maintain safety standards.
Maintenance Tasks: Carry out painting, decorating, and routine checks of toilet facilities and main areas of the school.
Support Cleaning Staff: Provide proactive and helpful assistance to cleaning staff.
Helpdesk Response: Respond to all Sodexo helpdesk calls promptly and efficiently.
Maintenance Completion: Complete planned and reactive maintenance tasks onsite.
On-Call Participation: Once fully trained, participate in an on-call rota (1 week in 4) with an accompanying callout allowance.
