Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated KP/Cook to join our culinary team. Duties
- Prepare ingredients and cook meals according to specified recipes and standards
- Assist in food preparation, ensuring all dishes meet quality and presentation requirements
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations
- Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management
- Serve food efficiently and courteously to customers or staff as required
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment
- Support other kitchen staff during busy periods, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork
Experience
- Previous experience in food preparation or cooking within a restaurant or catering environment is desirable
- Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices is essential
- Experience in meal preparation, including handling various kitchen equipment, is advantageous
- Familiarity with serving in a hospitality setting will be beneficial
- A genuine interest in culinary arts and willingness to learn new skills are highly valued
