The successful candidate for this role will perform a vital and pivotal role in the company and work very closely with the Managing Director and Senior Management Team in order to lead the day-to-day operations of our print, production and installation teams.

We are a small, independent, growing company with a team of 30+. The job title for this role is Head of Operations, and it is part of our Senior management team.
Responsibilities
Leading & developing a high-performing team of 15 sign makers and printers. This team of 15 includes 4 team leaders who will assist you in managing our full operational team.
Experience scheduling in a very fast paced environment and excellent planning skills.
Experience managing weekly targets and business performance.
Strong understanding of compliance, implementing systems, operational procedures and driving operational excellence.
Experience dealing with recruitment, performance management and staff development.
A proven track record of improving business performance and customer satisfaction.
Delivering strong commercial performance and P&L accountability.
Identifying opportunities for business growth, profitability and contract retention.
Maintaining exceptional standards and strong commercial background.
A competent communicator and ability to present to colleagues, peers and clients.
Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Power point.
Ability to motivate a diverse team with a Safety-first mindset.
A thorough understanding of safety, quality, and best practice housekeeping standards.
Positive, energetic, enthusiastic and passionate about leading and developing people.
Highly organized and able to prioritize effectively.
Commercially aware and results driven, professional and accountable.
Confident making decisions and taking ownership.

Work Location: In person Monday to Thursday 8.30am – 5pm and Friday 8.30am – 5pm
