(4 days on, 4 off, 4 nights on, 4 off)

Our SOC Operator role is an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of our Security Operations Centre. It’s more than just a job and offers variety, responsibility, and the opportunity to make a genuine difference every day.
Job Description
Your responsibilities will include:

Dispatching emergency and security services when required

Responding effectively to changing priorities and incidents

Monitoring CCTV systems and alarm activations
-
Managing mobile alarm callouts and coordinating responses

Conducting welfare checks for officers and lone workers
-
Monitoring gas detection and safety systems
-
Prioritising critical alarms, including fire and lone worker activations
-
Communicating with customers, colleagues, contractors and emergency services

Escalating issues appropriately and ensuring timely resolution

Handling sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and integrity

Qualifications
What We're Looking For

The right to work in the UK with a 5-year checkable history

Strong customer service skills and a genuine passion for helping others

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English – able to communicate with people from a wide range of backgrounds and at all levels

The ability to remain calm and make decisions under pressure

High levels of integrity and professionalism when handling sensitive information

A flexible approach to working days, nights, weekends and public holidays

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

A punctual, reliable and trustworthy approach to work
