Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and personable Senior Bartender to join our vibrant bar team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for delivering exceptional service, demonstrate strong knowledge of beverage preparation, and excel in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. This role offers an opportunity to lead by example, mentor junior staff, and contribute to the overall success of our establishment. A professional attitude, excellent organisational skills, and a commitment to food safety standards are essential for this position.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with company standards and recipes.
Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders accurately, and ensuring their satisfaction throughout their visit.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Manage stock levels, restock supplies as needed, and assist in inventory control.
Train and mentor junior bartenders and bar staff to uphold service excellence and operational efficiency.
Monitor guest behaviour to promote responsible alcohol service and prevent over-consumption.
Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments efficiently using POS systems.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a bartender in a busy restaurant or hospitality environment, ideally at a senior level.
Strong knowledge of alcohol service practices.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to serve guests professionally and courteously.
Demonstrable hospitality skills with a friendly yet professional demeanour.
Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and measuring ingredients accurately.
Experience in serving drinks efficiently while managing multiple orders simultaneously.
Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods.
A personable nature with the ability to work well within a team environment. This role offers an engaging work environment where professionalism, enthusiasm, and dedication are valued highly. Pay: £10.00-£20.00 per hour
