Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-time Bookkeeper to support our financial requirements. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and assisting with various accounting tasks. Duties
- Recording and reconciling financial transactions using recognised accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero
- Managing accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely processing of invoices and payments
- Maintaining organised financial records and supporting documentation for audit purposes
- Assisting with bank reconciliations and preparing financial reports as required
- Monitoring expenses and ensuring compliance with organisational policies
- Supporting year-end closing procedures and liaising with external accountants when necessary
Skills
- Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero
- Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and general ledger management
- Excellent organisational skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a part-time capacity
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Pay: £15.00-£22.00 per hour
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Teesside
