Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various premises. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who take pride in their work and enjoy creating a tidy, welcoming environment for clients and visitors alike. Prior experience is not essential, as training will be provided, but a positive attitude and attention to detail are crucial.

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitise designated areas, including floors, surfaces, windows, and fixtures
Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and to high standards
Use appropriate cleaning equipment and products safely and effectively
Maintain a clean and organised storage of cleaning supplies
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
Follow health and safety guidelines at all times to ensure a safe working environment
Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as required
Clean holiday cottages in a timely professional manner.

Skills

Good communication skills in English to understand instructions and interact professionally with colleagues and clients
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Customer service orientation to ensure clients’ needs are met courteously and efficiently
Basic driving skills are desirable for transporting cleaning equipment or supplies between locations
Excellent attention to detail to ensure thorough cleaning standards are maintained
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
