Analytics & Insight Leader
UK-Based (On-Site, Hybrid or Remote)

About the Role
We're looking for experienced Analytics & Insight Leaders for upcoming senior and leadership roles spanning Analytics Manager, Head of Analytics, Head of Insight and Director of Data & Analytics positions. These will be hands-on leadership roles where you'll set analytical direction, build and develop teams, and translate data into commercial advantage.

You'll work at the intersection of analytics craft and business strategy—shaping how organisations measure, learn and decide. The role suits someone who combines deep analytical foundations with the leadership instincts to grow capability, influence executives and embed insight into how a business operates.

Key Responsibilities

Define and own the analytics and insight strategy, aligning roadmaps with broader business objectives
Build, lead and develop high-performing analytics teams—coaching analysts and BI specialists at multiple levels
Partner with executive stakeholders to surface the questions that matter and translate findings into decisions
Establish analytical standards, frameworks and ways of working that scale across the organisation
Champion the use of self-service BI, data literacy and decision-quality measurement across business functions
Oversee the design and delivery of insight products: dashboards, reporting, deep-dive analyses and experimentation programmes
Set the technical bar for analytical rigour, validation and reproducibility within the team
Work closely with Data Engineering and Data Science peers to ensure analytics has the foundations it needs
Manage prioritisation across competing demands, balancing strategic projects with day-to-day stakeholder needs
Represent analytics in senior forums, advocating for evidence-led decision making

What You'll Bring

Leadership & Strategy:

Demonstrable experience leading analytics, insight or BI functions, including line-managing analysts at multiple levels
Strong track record of building analytical capability—hiring, developing and retaining talent
Commercial mindset; ability to connect analytical work to revenue, cost or customer outcomes
Confidence operating with C-suite and senior stakeholders, influencing without authority
Experience designing analytics operating models, governance and prioritisation frameworks

Technical Expertise:

Deep grounding in SQL and modern data warehouse environments (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift or similar)
Hands-on familiarity with BI platforms (Tableau, Power BI, Looker or equivalent)
Solid understanding of statistical methods, experimental design and analytical methodology
Awareness of the wider modern data stack: dbt, version control, semantic layers, data quality tooling
Comfortable assessing and challenging the technical work of others

Experience Level:

Minimum 5+ years for Analytics Manager, 7+ for Head of Analytics/Insight, 10+ for Director of Data & Analytics
Background in analytics, BI, business intelligence, data science or related discipline
Examples of teams built, capabilities developed or analytical programmes delivered
