Duties

Prepare and assemble ingredients for various dishes according to established recipes and standards
Cook and plate food items efficiently, maintaining high quality and presentation
Assist in baking activities, including mixing, baking, and decorating baked goods
Follow food safety protocols to ensure cleanliness, proper storage, and hygiene throughout the kitchen
Support the kitchen team during busy periods by managing multiple tasks seamlessly
Maintain organized workstations and ensure all kitchen equipment is functioning properly
Collaborate with team members to deliver timely service and uphold restaurant standards

Skills

Proven experience in food production and food preparation in a professional setting
Strong cooking skills with knowledge of various culinary techniques
Experience with baking and pastry preparation is highly desirable
Solid understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in a restaurant environment
Previous kitchen experience that demonstrates efficiency and teamwork
Ability to follow detailed instructions and adapt quickly to changing priorities
Enthusiasm for learning new culinary skills and contributing positively to the team
