Title: Partnerships Manager
Reports to: Director (Insight & Partnerships)
Contract type: 12 Month Fixed-Term Contract
Hours: 5 days per week (37.5 Hours) Worked between Monday- Friday
Salary: Grade 3 - £35,711 - £38,622 (5% employer pension contribution,
Medicash and group life assurance, 27 days annual leave per annum for FTE plus
bank holidays)
Location: Contractually based from our Manchester office with some flexibility to work from home, subject to business requirements and line manager approval. Some travel to our local programmes will also be required.
Role Summary
We are seeking a proactive team player with excellent organisation & people skills to join the Programme Infrastructure department. Reporting to the Director (Insight & Partnerships), the Partnerships Manager will take a leading role in overseeing our approach to building and maintaining a growing network of local and national delivery partners to drive impact for children and young people engaging with our local programmes.

Key Objectives of the Job
- Lead on overseeing and embedding our processes and policies to ensure the effective tendering, onboarding, management and monitoring of partnerships across Right to Succeed
- Support the development and implementation of robust systems for storing, assessing and reviewing the impact of our partnerships, including key measures and reporting mechanisms
- Build a network of partners to further enhance our knowledge and expertise of thematic areas of focus
- Provide informed & expert guidance and support to colleagues on partnerships best practice
- Enhance practices to provide quality assurance of our partnerships to build capability and support sustainability
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and embed our partnership policies and processes
- Embed policies and procedures to support programmes with the entire partnership lifecycle
- Ensure a robust process is in place so that all information regarding partnerships (such as policies and agreements) are stored centrally and are easily accessible by colleagues
- Collaborate with colleagues to identify opportunities or gaps in existing processes or documentation to best meet need and minimise risk
- Ensure knowledge of regulatory guidance and risk factors that may impact our approach are embedded into written policies and processes, overseeing the implementation and communication of any updates
- Oversee regular auditing of partnership documentation to ensure that these are in line with processes and policies
- Ensure our resources, tools and systems align with internal Data Protection & GDPR policies and wider National regulations
Monitoring the impact of our partnerships and activities
- Embed partnerships data & measures to our CRM system
- Collaborate with Data & Programme colleagues to monitor the effectiveness and impact of existing partnerships to embed a culture of data-driven decision making and shared best practice
- Work with Programme Infrastructure colleagues to embed a positive collective culture and focus on shared impact against our Evidence Framework, enabling partners to deliver to high standards
- Proactively research and identify potential new local and national partners that align with Right to Succeed's mission and strategic objectives, developing strategies for engagement and collaboration
Provide support and guidance to colleagues
- Establish regular communication channels and feedback loops with colleagues to provide ongoing support and guidance on partnership-related matters, ensuring adherence to quality standards
- Proactively offer informed guidance and support to colleagues on partnerships queries, regularly implementing changes to policies and processes to best meet need and learning
- Ensure all new starters are provided with a clear Partnerships induction
- Develop informed training on partnerships processes tailored for particular roles within RtS
Develop a network of partners
- Support with delivery partner provision mapping within both existing and new areas of work
- Work with colleagues to enhance our knowledge of thematic areas of focus for communities in areas of high deprivation, considering gaps in our strategic and local partners to support our growth
- Oversee activities to develop our approach to building local delivery partner capability and capacity to deliver impact at scale and ensure sustainability
- Oversee the stakeholder network analysis trial, developing our approach to measuring the impact of our work on developing partnership networks at a local, regional and national level
- Support the Director (Insight & Partnerships) to hold relationships with central or strategic partners, where required
Enhance practices to provide quality assurance of partnerships
- Enhance processes for overseeing and managing partner risk
- Provide expert guidance to colleagues, responding to queries and escalating concerns

Travel
Alongside hybrid working at our Manchester based office, this role will require some travel to our communities in the North West area and occasional travel to other areas of the UK in which we work.
Person Specification
Experience (essential)
- Managing multiple projects with conflicting deadlines
- Processing, reviewing and auditing partnership documentation, policies and processes
- Knowledge of partnership processes and/or regulatory guidance
- Knowledge of collective impact and place-based change
- Ability to anticipate potential risks, identify solutions, and navigate challenges within partnerships
- Reviewing data to track performance
Experience (desirable)
- Experience of using Client Relationship Management (CRM) systems
- Knowledge of partnership processes and regulatory guidance specific to the charity sector
- Experience in reporting on partnership performance
- Working on place base change projects / initiatives
- Stakeholder network analysis

- Proven organisational, prioritisation, planning and project management skills
- Excellent relationship management skills and ability to work with a wide variety of stakeholders
