JOB DESCRIPTION

As an Analyst or Associate Strategic Index Trader, you will help drive strategic initiatives, scale market execution, and enhance risk management processes. You'll collaborate with sales, structuring, and technology teams in a client-focused, non-proprietary trading environment. As a Strategic Index Trader, Analyst or Associate in the Commodity Indices team, you will price vanilla and exotic structures on indices, manage daily risk for the Commodity Index book, and participate in strategic initiatives to improve business architecture. You will work closely with traders, operations, and infrastructure groups to support a “one team” approach, and help develop automated tools to enhance the risk management platform. Your role will be central to delivering innovative solutions and driving business growth.

Job responsibilities

Price vanilla and exotic structures on indices.
Manage daily risk for the Commodity Index book (linear and non-linear).
Collaborate with operations and infrastructure groups to support a “one team” approach.
Participate in strategic initiatives to improve and evolve processes and business architecture.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Experience in pricing and risk management of linear and non-linear payoffs.
Extensive understanding of technical aspects of exotics risk management.
Good understanding of commodities market structure.
Clear communication skills and ability to collaborate, explain, and challenge as appropriate.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Experience in managing a risk book in commodities.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.

This role encompasses the performance of regulated activity. The successful candidate will therefore be subject to meeting regulatory requirements in the assessment of fitness, propriety, knowledge and competence (as assessed by the Firm) and (where appropriate) approval by the relevant regulatory authorities to carry out such activities
