Who are we?
We are an established online retailer with a wide portfolio of brands, selling across the fashion, home, lifestyle and outdoor categories. We operate a direct-to-consumer business via online marketplaces such as Amazon, our own direct retail websites, and other well-established retailers such as Next.
Some of our brands include Air Pro, Flight Knight and MONHOUSE and we are continuing to grow our presence across social media, influencer, PR and partnership channels.
About the role
This is a brilliant opportunity for an ambitious, creative and organised individual to kick-start their marketing career. As Marketing Assistant, you will support our Marketing Manager across the full spread of brand marketing activity — social media and content, community management, influencer and ambassador programmes, PR, partnerships, and reporting.
You'll be hands-on from day one, learning how an e-commerce marketing function works while taking real ownership of day-to-day tasks. It's an ideal role for someone early in their career who is passionate about brands, lives and breathes social media, and wants to develop into a well-rounded marketing professional.
What you'll do
You'll work closely with the Marketing Manager to support across the following areas:
Social Media & Content
- Help create and source engaging, on-brand content — static, video and written — for our portfolio of brands.
- Schedule, publish and monitor posts across all social channels in line with the content calendar.
- Keep the content calendar organised and up to date, with product seasonality and key dates in mind.
- Support the set-up and monitoring of boosted posts and paid social activity.
Community Management
- Be an active, friendly voice for our brands online — responding to comments, messages and tags in the brand's tone of voice.
- Act as a first point of contact for customer queries through social channels, working closely with the customer service team.
- Flag trends, feedback and opportunities you spot in the community to the wider team.
Influencer & Ambassador Support
- Help research, shortlist and reach out to creators (nano, micro and macro) who fit our brand values and audiences.
- Support the onboarding of creators — sending products, briefs and key information, and keeping trackers up to date.
- Coordinate gifting and seeding, chasing deliverables and making sure content lands on time.
- Help maintain strong, positive relationships with creators, talent managers and agencies.
PR & Media Support
- Assist with PR activity for product launches, seasonal campaigns and brand stories.
- Help draft and format media materials such as press releases, story angles and product one-pagers.
- Maintain and update media and journalist contact lists, and help track coverage as it lands.
Partnerships & Co-Marketing
- Help research and shortlist potential partner brands, communities and platforms.
- Support the coordination of joint campaigns — tracking deliverables, deadlines and assets.
- Assist with keeping partnership activity organised across creative, commercial and legal touchpoints.
Reporting & Admin
- Help pull together weekly and monthly reports across social, influencer, PR and partnership activity.
- Support UTM tagging, tracking links and basic analytics housekeeping (e.g. in GA4).
- Gather data on competitor and trend activity, and help turn it into clear, useful summaries.
- Keep campaign trackers, assets and shared folders tidy and well organised.
About you
You don't need years of experience — we're looking for the right attitude, energy and potential. You'll likely recognise yourself in most of the below:
- Passionate about social and brands — you're a daily user of platforms like Instagram and TikTok, and you have a feel for what makes good content.
- Creative — you enjoy coming up with ideas and have an eye for content, copy and detail.
- Organised — you can juggle multiple tasks and deadlines without dropping the ball.
- A clear communicator — confident writing in a brand's tone of voice, with strong written English.
- Curious about data — happy to dig into numbers and learn how performance is measured.
- Proactive and eager to learn — you take initiative, ask questions, and want to grow into a broader marketing role.
Nice to have (but not essential):
- A marketing, communications or related qualification, or relevant placement/internship experience.
- Some experience with tools such as Canva, social scheduling platforms, GA4, or influencer platforms.
- Any prior exposure to e-commerce or retail.
What we offer
- A varied, hands-on role with genuine ownership and exposure across the full marketing mix.
- Close mentorship from an experienced Marketing Manager
- The chance to make a real impact on growing, well-loved brands.
- A collaborative and friendly office environment.
