The role includes undertaking regular shifts and providing holiday cover to ensure adequate staffing levels during colleagues' annual leave."We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented locum Pharmacy Dispenser/technician to join our team., with possible temp to permanent positions.The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient dispensing and sale of medications to patients. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a pharmacy environment. This job requires week day and occasional weekend working. Proscript experience is mandatory.Responsibilities

Accurately dispense medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
Counter sales experience with good communication
Provide exceptional patient care by answering queries regarding medications and their administration.
Assist in the preparation and packaging of prescriptions, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Maintain accurate records of medication dispensation and inventory management.
Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare staff to optimise patient outcomes.
Conduct regular checks on medication stock levels and expiry dates, reporting any discrepancies.
Uphold cleanliness and organisation within the pharmacy workspace.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician/dispenser is mandatory.
Strong knowledge of medication administration and pharmaceutical practices.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks performed.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of patient care.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage positively with patients and colleagues.
A commitment to continuous professional development in the field of pharmacy.
