Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Martial Arts Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sports coaching and teaching, with the ability to motivate and guide students of all ages and skill levels. This role offers an exciting opportunity to promote discipline, fitness, and personal development through martial arts training. The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, ensuring student safety, and fostering a positive learning environment.

Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality martial arts instruction tailored to students’ age groups and skill levels
Develop structured lesson plans that promote technical skills, discipline, and confidence
Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to encourage improvement
Ensure the safety of all participants during training sessions by adhering to safety protocols
Organise and supervise sparring sessions, demonstrations, and grading examinations
Maintain a clean and organised training area, ensuring equipment is in good condition
Foster a respectful and inclusive atmosphere that motivates students to achieve their personal best
Keep accurate attendance records and communicate effectively with students and parents or guardians

Experience

Proven experience in sports coaching or martial arts instruction is essential
Demonstrated ability to teach diverse age groups and skill levels effectively
Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire students
Knowledge of safety standards related to martial arts training programmes
Previous experience in programme planning or curriculum development is advantageous
