Overview

Located in the heart of Knightsbridge, just 80 steps from Harrods and moments from Harvey Nichols, The Capital Hotel, Apartments & Townhouse is one of London’s first boutique hotels and a proud member of Pride of Britain Hotels and Small Luxury Hotels of the World.

We are delighted to be recruiting passionate and talented individuals to join our Cornwall-born seafood specialist, Tom Brown, at our One Michelin Star restaurant. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to work within an exceptional kitchen and front-of-house team, delivering refined, seafood-led cuisine at the very highest level.

Responsibilities

Supervise and support the front-of-house team during service.
Ensure guests receive exceptional, personalised service at all times.
Assist with team training, coaching, and performance development.
Maintain Michelin-star service standards and attention to detail.
Coordinate restaurant operations to ensure smooth and efficient service.
Manage guest feedback professionally and proactively.
Support stock control, ordering, and operational procedures where required.
Work closely with the Assistant Restaurant Manager, F&B Manager and kitchen teams to deliver a seamless dining experience.

Skills

Proven supervising experience within the hospitality or hotel industry
Strong knowledge of food, wine, and beverage service.
Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams and foster teamwork
Excellent guest service skills with a focus on exceeding expectations
Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to communicate effectively with diverse guests and staff
Knowledge of human resources practices related to staff training, scheduling, and conflict resolution
Familiarity with hotel operations, standards, and procedures in a fast-paced environment
Exceptional organisational skills with attention to detail
Flexible approach to working hours, including evenings and weekends.
Ability to remain calm under pressure while managing multiple priorities effectively
