Logic4training is looking for an ambitious Construction Course Sales Advisor to join our team at our head office in Northolt.
As the UK’s leading training and assessment provider within the building services sector, Logic4training delivers professional training across gas, electrical, plumbing, oil, refrigeration, renewable energy, smart metering and new entrant programmes.
This is an exciting opportunity to join an established and growing business where you'll play a key role in helping individuals and businesses find the right training while driving course sales and developing new opportunities.
You'll be joining a friendly, fast-paced team with excellent training facilities, strong sales support and the opportunity to develop your knowledge of the construction and building services industry.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll take ownership of sales enquiries from initial contact through to booking, while proactively developing new opportunities and building lasting customer relationships.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Responding quickly to telephone, email and online sales enquiries, with the aim of converting enquiries into course bookings.
- Speaking confidently with prospective learners and businesses to understand their training needs and recommend the most suitable courses.
- Following up warm leads, previous enquiries, renewal opportunities and prospective customers through regular outbound call drives.
- Closing sales and taking course deposits and payments.
- Providing clear and accurate information about courses, qualifications, availability and payment options.
- Identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell relevant training.
- Proactively identifying and targeting new potential customers.
- Building relationships with key training decision-makers within organisations and developing a strong pipeline of new business.
- Working towards and achieving agreed monthly sales targets.
- Generating new leads through telephone outreach, email campaigns, mailshots, face-to-face activity and other sales initiatives.
- Following up with prospective trainees following course inductions, including both attendees and non-attendees.
- Delivering presentations for new entrant programmes when required.
- Representing Logic4training at exhibitions, industry events and promotional activities.
- Developing relationships with existing learners to encourage repeat bookings and referrals.
- Maintaining accurate customer records, notes, follow-up activities and opportunities within our CRM system.
- Continuously developing your knowledge of Logic4training's courses and the wider building services and construction industry.
What We're Looking For
Previous sales experience within construction, building services or a closely related sector is essential.
We're looking for someone who is commercially minded, confident on the phone and motivated by achieving results.
You'll ideally have:
- A proven track record in sales and business development.
- Experience selling both over the telephone and face-to-face.
- The confidence and ability to negotiate, overcome objections and close sales.
- Strong upselling and cross-selling skills.
- Excellent relationship-building and client management abilities.
- An exceptional telephone manner and strong customer service skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A proactive approach to identifying and developing new business opportunities.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and follow-ups.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to take ownership of your workload.
- A practical, solutions-focused approach to problem-solving.
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- A positive, professional and determined attitude.
A full UK driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle would be advantageous but is not essential.
