Overview
We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated GMC Registered Doctor to join our Hair Transplant and Hair Restoration team on a flexible, pay-as-you-go basis.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care within a specialised clinical setting, ensuring adherence to the highest standards of medical practice and patient safety. This role offers an exciting opportunity to utilise your expertise in a growing field, contributing to innovative hair restoration treatments and improving patient outcomes.
This is a flexible, ad-hoc position with work offered as and when required. The successful candidate will be paid £400–£500 per day, depending on experience and qualifications.

Duties
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients seeking hair restoration treatments, including medical history reviews and physical examinations.
- Perform hair transplant procedures and related treatments with precision, professionalism, and care.
- Administer local anaesthetic safely and effectively where required.
- Develop personalised treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs and expectations.
- Monitor post-procedure recovery, providing ongoing support and advice to optimise healing and patient satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with GMC and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with hair transplant technicians, nurses, and other clinical staff to ensure seamless patient care.
- Educate patients regarding treatment options, risks, benefits, expected outcomes, and aftercare requirements.
- Ensure all procedures are carried out in accordance with clinical governance, infection control, and patient safety guidelines.
- Stay up to date with developments in hair restoration medicine and contribute to continuous service improvement.
Qualifications
- Full GMC Registration with a valid Licence to Practise.
- Right to work in the United Kingdom.
- Previous experience in hair transplantation is a must.
- Experience in aesthetics, dermatology, plastic surgery, general surgery, ENT, or related specialties is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of scalp anatomy and hair restoration principles.
- Competence in administering local anaesthesia and undertaking minor surgical procedures.
- Excellent communication and patient consultation skills.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining high clinical standards.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and maintaining the highest standards of patient care, safety, and confidentiality.
