Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Powder Coater to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying powder coatings to various metal components, ensuring high-quality finishes and adherence to safety standards. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a keen eye for detail and a strong interest in fabrication and finishing processes. The position is full-time and involves working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where precision and efficiency are essential.

Duties

Prepare surfaces for coating by cleaning, sanding, or masking as necessary
Operate powder coating equipment to apply uniform finishes on metal products
Inspect finished products for quality, consistency, and defects
Maintain and clean coating equipment regularly to ensure optimal performance
Assist with loading and unloading materials within the warehouse or production area
Follow health and safety protocols at all times during operations
Support other fabrication or assembly tasks as required, including using hand tools and power tools
Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality standards

Qualifications

Mechanical knowledge and experience with hand tools, power tools, and powder coating
Experience in fabrication, construction painting, or warehouse environments is advantageous
Familiarity with assembly procedures and the use of various hand tools is desirable
Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a team setting
Good organisational skills with attention to detail
Prior experience in Powder coating or industrial settings will be beneficial
