Full job description

We’re not just looking for someone who can teach ballet.
We’re looking for someone who can ignite it in every student they meet.

If you’re a highly skilled, passionate ballet teacher who can balance discipline with delight, who knows how to build not only technique but confidence we'd love to hear from you.

THE ROLE

You’ll lead weekly Ballet classes, following the Royal Academy of Dance syllabus and teaching a range of age groups, ensuring strong technique, musicality and progression throughout each level.

Planning and delivering structured, engaging ballet classes rooted in strong technique
Supporting dancers in developing strength, grace, discipline, and artistry
Providing clear and constructive feedback to help each dancer grow
Monitoring individual progress and tailoring your approach accordingly
Fostering a kind, encouraging and inclusive studio environment

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

A teacher who:

Has significant experience teaching ballet to children all ages.
Holds recognised ballet training/qualifications (e.g. RAD, ISTD, or equivalent)
Demonstrates technical expertise and emotional intelligence
Is reliable, punctual, and can manage a class independently with confidence
Can commit to the full term academic year 2026/27.
Holds (or is willing to obtain) an Enhanced DBS, First Aid, and Safeguarding training
