BESPOKE JOINERY DESIGNER / DRAUGHTSMAN
Location: Croydon, Greater London
Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm (Office-Based)
IMPORTANT: PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT HAVE PROFESSIONAL SOLIDWORKS EXPERIENCE OR PREVIOUS BESPOKE JOINERY INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE.
About the Role
Painted Bespoke Joinery is seeking an experienced Bespoke Joinery Designer / Draughtsman to join our growing design department at our Croydon manufacturing facility.
This role is ideally suited to an experienced Joinery Designer, Technical Draughtsman, Bench Joiner, CNC Programmer, Project Manager or Joinery Professional who understands how bespoke furniture and joinery are actually manufactured and has experience with the software that we are using.
We are not looking for a general CAD technician or someone from a purely architectural background.
We are looking for someone who understands bespoke joinery construction, furniture manufacturing, cabinet making, materials, machining processes and workshop production.
SolidWorks experience is essential.
SWOOD experience is highly desirable and will be a significant advantage.
If you cannot confidently produce manufacturing drawings that a joiner, CNC operator and workshop team can build from without constant clarification, this role is unlikely to be suitable.
