At Little Door & Co, we're not just a bar and restaurant – we're a house party. Our venues are designed around a fictional flatshare, creating a warm, welcoming environment where guests feel like they've been invited into someone's home.

We're looking for a charismatic, organised, and outgoing Host & Guest Experience Lead to be the face of the venue. You'll be the first person our guests meet and the last person they remember, setting the tone for every visit and ensuring every guest feels genuinely welcomed.

About the Role

This role is perfect for someone who loves people, thrives in a busy environment, and enjoys creating memorable experiences. You'll be responsible for managing the guest journey from arrival to departure, building relationships with regulars, creating excitement at the door, and ensuring our reservations diary is optimised to maximise both guest experience and revenue.

You'll work closely with the management and security teams to maintain a smooth operation while bringing energy, personality, and exceptional hospitality to every shift.

What We're Looking For

A natural host with a warm, friendly, and outgoing personality
Previous experience in hospitality, reservations, hosting, or guest experience
Strong organisational skills and confidence managing bookings and reservations
Excellent judgement and decision-making skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and multitasking effectively
Passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences
Confident building relationships with regulars and VIP guests
Positive, energetic, and able to engage with people from all walks of life
A team player who leads by example and takes pride in their work

Key Responsibilities

Be the face of the venue, creating a warm and memorable first impression for every guest
Manage queues and engage with waiting guests, building excitement and creating a positive atmosphere
Work alongside security to manage entry and ensure guests receive a professional and welcoming experience
Build relationships with regular guests, VIPs, and local customers
Manage reservations, seating plans, and table allocations to optimise covers and guest flow
Adjust the diary in real time to maximise revenue opportunities and enhance guest experience
Handle guest enquiries and requests with confidence, professionalism, and personality
Resolve guest concerns quickly and effectively
Work closely with floor teams and management to ensure smooth service throughout the venue
Maintain exceptional presentation standards across all guest-facing areas
Support guest feedback initiatives, online reviews, and repeat business
Assist with training and developing team members in hospitality and guest engagement standards
