Fleet Street Wealth is one key providers of financial advice to the barrister community. We now seek to recruit an administrative assistant to largely assist our administration team in what is likely to be your first role after full time education.
If successful, you will then have an opportunity to progress through both our Administration and Technical departments. Thereafter having the opportunity of being signed off as a fully qualified chartered financial planner. Alternatively, the Graduate Trainee can forge a career as a highly technical and analytical senior Paraplanner.
You will have the flexibility of working from home and the office. A minimum of 3 days is expected in the office after passing your probation period.

What you will do:
Assisting our administration team and general back office duties, for example:
- Learn all firm processes and our ‘client journey’ as well as all compliance requirements
- Receiving and dealing with income post
- Filing and data cleansing
- Sending letter of authorities/agency changes as well as chasing for information
- Keeping our back-office (Xplan and Papercloud) system up to date
- Gathering up-to-date information and assisting with pre- and post-client review meetings
- Obtaining updates on client applications
- Checking validity (with referenced time frames) of internal compliance documents
- Dealing with client queries or internal projects with the assistance of the relevant departments
Essential experience required for this role (if you do not meet this, please do not apply as we will not get in contact)
- A minimum of B in Maths and English at GCSE (or equivalent)
- A minimum of 2:1 in a relevant subject (e.g. Maths, Finance, Economics) if you want the opportunity to join the Graduate Trainee Programme
- Excellent prioritisation skills to meet, if not exceed, deadlines
- The ability to manage expectations of all staff and clients
The offer:
- Basic annual salary will be dependent on experience – up to £28,000
- Normal working hours: 9am – 5.30pm (Friday finish at 5pm) with a 1-hour lunch break
- Holiday allowance of 23 days, increasing annually and capped 30 days (historically, the office also closes for 2 weeks at Christmas at the discretion of management)
