Dacie Clean - Daintie, PODBOSS & LVP
Full-time | On-site | London
We are on the hunt for an E-commerce Manager to build and grow the online commercial engine across our brands' websites, marketplaces, the distributor platform and sales funnels.
This is a hands on role for someone who genuinely understands ecommerce systems. Shopify, websites, product feeds, Klaviyo, funnels, technical setup, reporting, conversion, stock visibility and all the quiet details that quietly make or lose a business money every day.
It's also a big sales generating role, not just backend admin. Every new marketplace is another revenue stream. Every working funnel is another way to convert demand. Every dropshipper, distributor or wholesale partner who plugs in our products is another channel. This role is about pushing that growth properly.
The job is simple: make every product easy to find, easy to buy, correctly listed, properly connected, properly tracked and commercially understood.
About Us
We're an entrepreneurial Aussie family, originally from Melbourne, with quite a few businesses across the US and Australia. Everything from caravans to arborist machinery to lab and medical products. So we're not an agency, but you'll get to work across a genuinely diverse range of products and brands. We opened our London office at Westbourne Studios in January 2026 as we push some of our brands into Europe, so we're still very much early days. You'd be joining as one of the early members of our London crew - soon acompanied by our Brand & PR Manager and Sales Manager and we're hoping to find the right people to grow with and build a really fun, supportive and chilled culture.
Here in the UK, Dacie Clean is made up of three main brands: Daintie, PODBOSS and LVP. Daintie is our main D2C brand, making specialised laundry care for intimate items, period stains and sensitive skin. PODBOSS sells wholesale convenience-sized and B2B bulk detergent. LVP is focused on laundry vending machines and laundrette supplies. Across the group we're building niche, practical consumer and trade brands with clear positioning, strong product-market fit and serious growth potential.
After three years adapting our US products for Europe, they're finally arriving in the UK (hooray!!.. it's been a long process). We're a small team, that is pretty much building the plane while flying it (responsibly, of course). Structure and processes are still forming, so there's real room to shape how things are done.
As part of our Euro expansion we're also hiring a:
- Brand & PR Manager,
- Sales Manager and
- Brand Strategist/Copywriter.
If you know great people for those, mention it in a BLUE box in the top right-hand corner of your application.
The Role
You'll manage and improve our ecommerce channels across multiple Dacie Clean Amazon accounts, Shopify, our websites, the distributor platform, product feeds, dropship channels and other marketplaces across both our US and UK businesses.
Amazon experience is useful, but this isn't just an Amazon role. Where we need the most support is everything around it: other marketplaces, websites, Shopify, Klaviyo, funnels, backlinks, product feeds, distributor portals, tracking, technical setup, and making sure all the systems actually connect and perform.
You won't be designing assets or writing the copy yourself. We have designers and copywriters for that. But you'll brief them on what's needed for landing pages, listings, funnels and content, then set up the technical side properly so the work actually turns into sales.
You'll report directly to the Founder, and as the team and the brands grow, there's room for this role to grow too.
Who You'll Work With
- Founder - commercial direction, priorities, final calls and launch timing
- Brand Designer - product images, A+ content, landing page visuals and ad assets
- Brand Strategist/Copywriter - product, email, listing and SEO copy, plus funnel and campaign messaging
- Brand & PR Manager - UGC, creator content, social proof, TikTok Shop content and partner footage
- Sales Manager - your sounding board for new revenue ideas: distributor leads, wholesale and dropship partners, B2B funnels, and dreaming up new sales channels together
- UK Dispatch/Warehouse - fulfilment from our UK warehouse
- US Dispatch/Warehouse - fulfilment from our US warehouse
- US Web/IT Support - current US websites and technical support, including the existing LVP site
- US Marketing Team - existing brand and campaign support
- US Videographer - product and campaign video assets.
What You'll Be Doing
Websites, Shopify and E-commerce Functions. You'll manage all our product listings, variants, pricing, inventory and product pages; support our websites including the Lovable built distributor platform; build and improve customer journeys, product pages and funnels; connect forms, lead capture, email flows and checkout journeys properly; keep tracking, pixels, UTMs, feeds and analytics healthy and manage Google Shopping feeds and Merchant Center issues. Because we sell across the US, UK and Europe, you'll also handle the cross-border setup Shopify Markets, EPR compliance, multi-currency, localised pricing, and duties, VAT, OSS landing correctly at checkout and on each marketplace.
Build the master product file (the single source of truth). Creating and maintaining a proper master product file for all countries so it may mean US measurements in inches/lbs, worldwide in cm/kg so the same clean information plugs straight into Amazon, Shopify, TikTok Shop, Walmart, Faire, bol.com, distributor portals, dropship feeds and any future marketplace. That means keeping product names, SKUs, barcodes, dimensions, weights, carton quantities, pricing, images, claims, ingredients, descriptions and compliance notes organised and marketplace-ready, building repeatable upload templates per platform, and coordinating with Operations, the Copywriter and the Designer so it stays accurate. The goal: never rewrite, guess or hunt for product information again.
Own the technical side of Klaviyo and funnels. The Copywriter writes the emails and the Designer handles visuals - your job is making the machine work. You'll set up welcome, abandoned cart, post-purchase, review-request and winback flows; segment customers by product, brand, behaviour and lead source; connect forms, pop-ups, landing pages and checkout triggers to the right lists; make sure emails fire at the right time and nobody falls into a messy or duplicated journey; and monitor flow performance, revenue attribution and conversion, improving weak points with the Copywriter and Designer. You'll also make sure we're capturing marketing consent properly and keeping lists clean and compliant with UK/EU rules.
Drive repeat purchase - subscriptions, loyalty and referral. Detergent is something people rebuy on a cycle, so this is some of the highest-leverage revenue we have. You'll set up and grow Subscribe & Save on Amazon and a subscription tool on Shopify (Recharge, Loop or similar), plus loyalty and referral mechanics that turn one-off buyers into regulars and regulars into advocates wiring up the triggers, tiers and discounts so they basically run themselves.
Own reviews and social proof (the technical side). Reviews convert, so you'll make sure we're capturing them everywhere: Amazon Vine on new launches, a Shopify reviews app (Judge.me, Okendo or similar), and a clean way to pull strong UGC and testimonials from the Brand & PR Manager into listings, product pages and ads.
Expand beyond Amazon. A major part of the role is judging where our company grows next. We would like you to open us up on TikTok Shop, Walmart, bol.com, OnBuy, Ankorstore, Cdiscount, Not On The High Street, dropship platforms and more, wherever the product fit makes sense. You'll evaluate which are actually worth it, set up accounts, upload and adapt catalogues per platform, manage account health and fulfilment settings, set up wholesale/distributor/dropship feeds, track performance, and build repeatable launch processes as you learn each one. Every platform has its own rules and logic — Amazon (ASINs, A+ Content, Brand Store, parent-child variations, suppressed listings, Seller Support), wholesale platforms (pricing, MOQs, buyer-facing catalogues), distributor and dropship channels (feeds, ordering, partner onboarding), plus plugging VAT, EPR and compliance details in where required. We don't need every platform for the sake of it — we need someone who can tell where the effort pays off, then set it up properly.
Get products launch-ready. As new products move from production into photography, listings and campaigns, you make sure the ecommerce side is ready: live on the right platforms before launch, assets and copy pulled in from the Designer and Copywriter, product pages and listings uploaded, launch pages and email flows connected, promotions and bundles set, strong UGC from the Brand & PR Manager made usable in ads and listings - and every link, form, checkout path and tracking event checked before go-live.
Support paid media, feeds and tracking (depending on experience). Managing Merchant Center and Shopping feeds; supporting Meta, TikTok and Google campaign setup; wiring up UTMs, pixels, catalogues and conversion tracking; briefing creative for ads; monitoring ROAS, CAC, CTR and spend; and feeding insights back to the team.
Grow the site commercially - SEO, backlinks and funnels. Technical SEO basics across product pages, meta titles/descriptions, redirects, internal linking and page structure; coordinating and tracking backlink opportunities; building landing pages and simple funnels; and creating systems so leads, enquiries and customers don't fall through the cracks.
Keep the post-purchase experience clean. You'll own (or set up and oversee) the technical side of returns, refunds, order issues, chargebacks and disputes, plus the helpdesk setup (Gorgias or similar) so customer problems get caught and resolved instead of quietly costing us money and reviews.
Report, flag risk and tell us what's happening. Weekly ecommerce performance reports tracking revenue, units, conversion, and marketplace performance; monitoring account health; flagging stock-out risks early and feeding reorder insights to Operations; and building clear dashboards so the team can see what's going on with a short, honest read on what changed, why, and what you're doing about it.
What We're Looking For
Someone detail-obsessed and strong both technically and commercially who understands ecommerce systems, not just one platform, and gets that conversion, visibility, stock, tracking and profitability all connect. You know Shopify and marketplace operations well, you're comfortable setting up Klaviyo flows, feeds, tracking and funnels, and you notice small issues before they turn into expensive ones. You can run multiple brands, accounts, SKUs and platforms without losing control, you're organised to an almost clinical degree, and you're happy living in spreadsheets, dashboards, backend systems and marketplace portals. You can brief designers and copywriters clearly, stay calm under volume, and you're self-directed enough not to need chasing.
We're very pro-automation and new tech. If there's a faster, cleaner way to do something AI, Zapier, Make, Shopify apps, feed tools, Klaviyo automations, dashboards or marketplace integrations — we want someone who spots the friction and removes it. Honestly, if a good automation that saves an hour a week gives you a small thrill, you'll fit right in.
Essential skills: strong ecommerce platform experience; Shopify product and store management; setting up or managing Klaviyo flows; solid grasp of funnels, tracking and conversion; marketplace experience beyond one platform; Amazon Seller Central competence; managing product feeds / Google Merchant Center or similar; strong Excel or Google Sheets; ecommerce reporting and data analysis; clear briefing of designers and copywriters; comfortable across multiple SKUs, brands, accounts and platforms; organised, accurate and commercially minded.
Nice to have: TikTok Shop, Walmart, bol.com, Faire, OnBuy, Ankorstore or Cdiscount; multiple Amazon accounts across US and UK companies; Amazon A+ Content, Brand Stores, PPC or Brand Registry; Lovable, Webflow, WordPress or similar; technical SEO, backlinks and landing pages; Meta, TikTok or Google Ads; GA4, Looker Studio, Triple Whale or attribution tools; 3PLs, Amazon MCF, distributor platforms or multi-channel fulfilment; detergent, chemical, FMCG, wellness, home, beauty or consumer goods; subscription or retention tools (Recharge, Loop, Subscribe & Save); review platforms (Judge.me, Okendo, Yotpo); helpdesk tools (Gorgias, Zendesk); cross-border and multi-currency setup (Shopify Markets); and familiarity with UK/EU GDPR, PECR and cookie consent.
What Success Looks Like
You're doing well when there's a clean master product file the team actually uses; Shopify and our websites are accurate, connected and tracked; Klaviyo flows are live, working and improving; new marketplaces are being evaluated and launched; funnels are being built, tested and improved; dropship, wholesale and distributor channels are getting easier for partners to plug into; feeds, pixels, forms, links and tracking all work; Amazon accounts are clean and supported; subscription and repeat-purchase revenue is growing; reviews are being captured across every channel; returns and customer issues are handled cleanly; stock risks get flagged before we run out; and reports are clear, useful and action-led — so the team knows what's happening across ecommerce without digging for it.
Exceptional means you're not just maintaining channels. You're creating new sales routes and making the whole commercial machine sharper.
Who This Role Is Not For
This isn't the role for someone who's vague with numbers, casual with details, or happy to leave a technical issue sitting unresolved. A broken feed, a missing tracking event, a weak landing page, a disconnected Klaviyo flow, a messy SKU setup, a bad redirect or a looming stock-out should genuinely bother you - the kind of thing you can't quite leave alone until it's fixed.
It's also not right if you don't enjoy automation, systems, spreadsheets or figuring out how platforms connect. We need someone who can quietly and consistently make the e-commerce side of the business cleaner, sharper and more profitable.
Location
Full-time, on-site in London. We also offer up to two months of remote work a year if you want to travel - and we'll cover co-working space fees while you're off adventuring.
How to Apply
- CV: Send your CV or a short overview of your ecommerce experience. If you have examples of marketplaces, websites, Shopify stores, funnels, Klaviyo flows, dashboards, product feeds or systems you've worked on, include them — a technical portfolio is just as welcome as a traditional CV. Just make sure the word Detergent is in there somewhere so we know you read this properly.
- "Cover letter": Please don't send a traditional corporate cover letter. We're far more interested in who you are, how you think, what gives you energy and why this role genuinely interests you. Think of it less like a cover letter and more like a thoughtful, casual introduction a short note, one-page PDF, a presentation, a Loom video, Notion-style page, or whatever format feels natural.
We'd love to know what work makes you feel most useful, what you're naturally good at, what people rely on you for, the kind of problems you enjoy solving, the systems or automations you've loved building, why this role caught your attention, and a bit of your personality. It doesn't need to be formal we care more about how you think, your curiosity, initiative and self-awareness. The goal: to understand whether we'd work well together.
- Finally, answer one of these (your choice):
- What's one ecommerce or website task you think businesses waste too much time doing manually?
- Tell us about a niche strategy you've seen or used that made you think "that's actually clever" - a review journey, referral loop, lead magnet, upsell path, customer quiz, marketplace trick, anything that created an unexpectedly good outcome.
- What's one online sales opportunity you'd explore early if you joined us?
