Full job description

Overview
We are seeking young, enthusiastic and caring Mentors to join our team. You will be passionate about supporting young people to reach their full potential! This role is ideal for those who are invested in youth development and want to build a career in mentoring.

As a Mentor, you will work with young people aged 9-17 helping them build confidence, develop life skills, and overcome personal or educational challenges. Full training and ongoing support will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

Support young people through one-to-one and group mentoring sessions
Help mentees set realistic goals and encourage positive decision-making
Build trusting, supportive relationships with young people
Focus on personal development
Work alongside experienced mentors.
Monitor progress and maintain accurate records
Promote a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment

What We’re Looking For

A genuine passion for working with young people
Strong communication and listening skills
Empathy, patience, and a non-judgemental approach
Willingness to learn and take part in training
Ability to motivate and inspire young people
Basic organisational and teamwork skills
Previous experience with young people is desirable but not essential
