Overview
We are looking for a Physiotherapy Intern/ assistant, suitable for therapists wishing to progress onto an MSc in Physiotherapy (Pre Reg) OR already have a Degree in Physiotherapy FROM THE UK who wish to get more MSK expeience. Preferred ALL training was done in the UK ONLY.

They must have excellent working English and be good with the public. 23hrs per week over 2 clinics in Harrow and Central London.

We will give you clinical experience, Extra CPD/training and opportunities to develop ion career progression.

No work Visa's and candidates must have trained and currently live/work in UK. We prefer HCPC registered candidates.

This is a part time role.We are seeking a motivated Physiotherapy Intern/Assistant to support our healthcare team in providing exceptional patient care. This paid internship offers valuable hands-on experience in physiotherapy practices, ideal for individuals interested in pursuing a career in healthcare. The role involves assisting qualified and experienced physiotherapists with patient treatments, maintaining clinical environments, and developing essential skills within a professional setting.

Duties

Assist physiotherapists with patient assessments and treatment sessions under supervision
Prepare treatment areas and equipment for therapy sessions
Support patients during exercises and mobilisation activities
Maintain accurate records of patient progress and treatment plans
Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the therapy environment in compliance with health and safety standards
Participate in educational activities to enhance understanding of physiotherapy techniques and patient care
Communicate effectively with patients, team members, and other healthcare professionals to facilitate smooth operations

Qualifications

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain procedures and instructions
Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
Basic IT skills for maintaining electronic health records and documentation
Previous experience or interest in teaching or training others is advantageous
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Enrolled in or recently completed a relevant healthcare or physiotherapy programme is preferred but not essential
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
Willingness to learn, adapt, and adhere to clinical protocols
