Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Garment Presser to join our professional team. The successful candidate will be responsible for pressing and finishing garments to ensure they meet high-quality standards. This role requires attention to detail, efficiency, and a commitment to delivering excellent service. 2 years minimum experience
Responsibilities
- Operate pressing equipment such as irons and steamers to press garments accurately and efficiently
- Ensure all clothing items are pressed to the required standards and specifications
- Inspect garments for defects or irregularities before pressing
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the pressing area and equipment
- Handle delicate fabrics with care to prevent damage during the pressing process
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines at all times during work activities
- Assist with other laundry or garment finishing tasks as required
Qualifications
- Previous experience in garment pressing or laundry services is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality standards
- Good manual dexterity and physical stamina for prolonged periods of standing and operating equipment
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering excellent service
Pay: £60.00-£70.00 per day
