Are you looking for a Waking night's Support Worker role?

Join Active Care in the Home, and become part of a rewarding new care team supporting our new client in Wood Green.

This is more than just a job it's a chance to build a trusted connection with one individual and make a genuine difference in their life.

Meet the client:

The client has a spinal cord injury (SCI), paraplegia, paranoia, OCD, and experiences anxiety. He is a Mathematics graduate who previously worked in the banking sector and is currently pursuing a PhD in Mathematics. He lives alone, with daily visits from his mother. As he can be cautious when building new relationships, he may take time to develop trust and confidence in new support workers. Support is primarily task-focused, and he responds best to individuals who are calm, approachable, professional, and reassuring.

The successful candidate will be patient, consistent, and able to provide person-centred support while respecting his independence and promoting a safe, structured environment.

When you will be working:

Waking night shifts
8pm - 8am
Part time or Full time available

In this role, you'll support one individual with complex needs, working regular weekly shifts to build a consistent, trusted care team. While hours are usually stable, the position is offered on a zero-hours contract.
