Full job description

We are looking to recruit a Gym Instructor/Membership Advisor in Woolwich to work closely with the team to support our members and maintain the highest possible standards in the club. Undertake customer inductions, fitness assessments, reviews and other customer services as required and set by the service plan. Deliver gym based exercise classes, Membership's sales, dealing with enquiries and customer retention.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to learn both sales and gain experience teaching classes and 121 training set ups.

Duties will include, but not be restricted to:

Cleaning of all areas of the Club
Outreach - generating your own business, speaking to people outside to aid with membership sales.
Member inductions
Prospect leads by doing a variety of actions, such as calling, texting, or emailing potential members, and chatting with them at local events or during studio walk-ins
Delivering engaging and effective gym appointments both 1:1 and in groups
Running small classes on the gym floor (abs, kettlebells, HIIT etc)
Health checks and reviews
Writing basic programs for members
Supporting the team with member telephone calls
Taking photos and videos for social media
Running member competitions

The successful candidates for the role of Gym Instructor/Membership Advisor will be

Confident
Enthusiastic

Structured individual able to make a well thought through plan of action

We strongly believe in development and training, so a Fitness Coach will be supported in their education to ensure personal and professional growth throughout their time at the club. Shifts will include evening and weekend hours between 6am-9:30pm.

Pay: From £26,000.00 per year
