Bartender – City of London Club
Location: City of London, London, EC2
Department: Food and Beverage
Reports to: House Manager
Contract Type: Full-Time

Salary: £28,035 annually + share of monthly service charge & generous annual Christmas bonus

Established in 1832, the City of London Club is the oldest private members’ club in the City. Steeped in tradition yet forward-thinking in service, the Club offers a refined and professional atmosphere with a warm “home from home” ethos. Our team is dedicated to delivering exceptional experiences to our distinguished members and their guests.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced, personable, and professional Bartender to join our Food & Beverage team. This is a hands-on role where you’ll deliver first-class bar service in an exclusive and elegant setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide warm, attentive, and professional service to members and guests.
Maintain the highest standards of beverage service, upholding the Club’s reputation for excellence.
Work closely with the kitchen and wider F&B team to ensure seamless service.
Monitor stock, cash handling, and POS systems.
Contribute to a supportive, respectful, and professional team culture.
Demonstrate strong knowledge of wines, spirits, cocktails, and upselling techniques.
Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.

About You

Previous experience in a private members club and/or luxury hotel is essential.
Passion for hospitality with meticulous attention to detail.
Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
Professional, reliable, and punctual.
Able to work well in a team as well as independently.
Knowledge of food hygiene and safety regulations.
