We are a PE-backed consultancy with ambitious growth plans over the next 3-5 years. As we enter this next phase of our growth, we are looking for a Chief People Officer to help us scale, strengthen our leadership, and build a high performance organisation.
The role:
The Chief People Officer will be accountable for owning and delivering a fit-for-growth people strategy that enables Enfuse to scale and deliver its Value Creation Plan.
This is not a transactional HR leadership role. It is an enterprise leadership position, operating at Executive Committee level, working as a peer to the CFO/COO and partnering closely with the CEO, Board and investors.
You will lead the People team and use people strategy as a core lever for growth, value creation and leadership effectiveness.
What you'll do:
Deliver a fit-for-growth organisation
- Own the design and evolution of the organisation structure as Enfuse scales
- Lead workforce planning, integrating sales pipeline, recruitment, L&D and reward into a single forward-looking plan
- Lead organisational change programmes, ensuring a coherent, joined-up approach
- Identify and manage people-related scalability risks and build readiness for future requirements
Build trust, transparency and alignment
- Establish clear expectations of performance, contribution and progression at every grade
- Strengthen leadership team effectiveness, accountability and decision-making
- Act as a custodian of fairness, integrity and consistency across performance, promotion and reward
- Translate people-related risks into clear commercial implications for the Executive Team and Board
Grow future-focused leadership
- Define and embed leadership expectations and performance standards
- Own succession strategy for senior and critical roles
- Design and deliver leadership development aligned to future business needs
- Lead senior hiring strategy, taking a hands-on role in key hires
Own the Employee Value Proposition
- Define and evolve a compelling EVP that supports attraction, engagement and retention
- Design reward and incentive structures aligned to performance and growth
- Ensure transparency and fairness across career development and progression
- Shape and represent Enfuse's employer brand in the market
What we're looking for:
Experience
- Executive-level People leadership experience (CPO / HRD or equivalent) in a growth-oriented consulting business. Significant prior experience within another management consultancy is an essential requirement and we are unfortunately not able to consider candidates without this.
- Proven track record delivering people strategy as a direct enabler of business growth and performance
- Experience operating as a peer to commercial leaders and influencing at Board and Executive level
- Experience leading organisational change at scale and building high-performing People functions
Skills
- Strong commercial acumen, translating people insight into business risk and opportunity
- Expertise in operating models and people strategy within consulting
- Organisational design and workforce planning capability
- Ability to design scalable people systems that drive clarity and high performance
- Data-led mindset, using people analytics to inform decisions

This is a permanent, full time role and you will need to be flexible to spend 2-3 days working from our central London office every week.
