We are seeking a skilled Curtain Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in fabricating and assembling curtain components. This role requires proficiency in using various hand and power tools, as well as the ability to read and interpret technical drawings. The Curtain Maker will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate curtain components using sheet metal and other materials as specified in design plans.
- Assemble finished products, ensuring all parts fit together accurately and securely.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete tasks.
- Perform stick welding and other welding techniques as required for specific projects.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
- Conduct basic maths calculations to ensure precise measurements and cuts are made during fabrication.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a similar role or relevant skills in fabrication and assembly.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Familiarity with sheet metal work is advantageous.
- Basic maths skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating good communication skills.
- Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
