The Investment Management value chain is currently undergoing significant change. Both Asset Managers and Asset Servicers are undergoing transformation journeys, which as a result is changing where activities sit on the value chain and thus altering the operating models of both players. Our ambition is to become the leading Consulting practice in Asset Servicing, helping asset servicers to deliver large scale transformation change initiatives that enable digital technology adoption and operational efficiencies through major structural changes within their back-office operations, including Transfer Agency, Custody, Depositories, and Fund Accounting, to unlock value and growth ambitions for their organisations. We are looking for talented individuals with expertise in back-office asset servicing with a passion to learn, develop and grow within our proposition team.
As a Senior Consultant in our team, you will play a key role in supporting the development and delivery of our Asset Servicing proposition, with a specialisation in back-office functions. You will have the opportunity to:

Contribute to the team's expertise in back-office asset servicing, supporting thought leadership initiatives and market presence.

Support the successful delivery of client engagements and programmes, executing tasks and analyses to achieve strategic outcomes within back-office transformation projects.

Collaborate effectively within project teams, learning from senior colleagues and contributing to a supportive team environment.

Actively contribute to the development and growth of the Investment Management practice, supporting the asset servicing back-office proposition, market offerings, and intellectual capital.

Assist in cultivating and strengthening client relationships, participating in client interactions and supporting the identification of new business opportunities.

Support business development activities, including assisting with proposal writing and preparing materials for client presentations, to help secure new engagements.
Connect to your skills and professional experience
- Solid understanding of the Investment Management Asset Servicing market, with exposure to or familiarity with Transfer Agency, Fund Administration, and/or Custody Services.

Experience in a consulting environment or a relevant professional services role.

Experience supporting transformational change programmes within back-office functions, contributing to successful project outcomes.

Ability to collaborate effectively within project teams, demonstrating a willingness to learn and contribute to team development.

Experience assisting in the design and delivery of projects, contributing to the development of solutions for back-office operations.

Ability to work effectively within project teams, supporting the execution of tasks across various workstreams.

Good understanding of operating model concepts, design, and analysis, particularly as applied to back-office processes, technology integration, and regulatory compliance.

Ability to support client interactions and contribute to building strong client relationships.

Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders and contribute to issue resolution within project teams.

Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate concepts clearly and concisely.

Willingness to contribute to practice development, including supporting proposition design, thought leadership, and intellectual capital development.

Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly in PowerPoint and Excel.

A comprehensive understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion principles, with an ability to foster an inclusive culture within teams and client engagements.

Good understanding of risk management principles, regulatory compliance, and governance frameworks relevant to asset servicing back-office operations.

Regulation and controls are standard practice in our industry and Deloitte is no exception. These controls provide important legal protection for both you and the firm. We are subject to a number of audit regulations, one of which requires that certain colleagues abide by specific personal independence constraints (e.g., in relation to any financial interests and employment relationships). This can mean that you and your "Immediate Family Members" are not permitted to hold certain financial interests (shares, funds, bonds etc.) with audit clients of the firm, and also prohibitions on certain employment relationships (e.g., you are not permitted to hold a secondary employment role with SEC audit clients of the firm whilst being employed by the firm).
