Full job description

Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified and motivated FREC 4 Medic to join our growing team delivering high-quality medical cover across events, private contracts and night time economy.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced clinician who thrives in fast-paced environments and is committed to providing exceptional patient care.

Duties

Provide advanced emergency medical services including patient assessment, vital sign monitoring, and initial treatment interventions.
Administer medications and injections following established protocols and under medical direction. (If SALM L3 qualification held)
Perform physical examinations and utilise physiology and anatomy knowledge to determine patient needs.
Manage airway, breathing, and circulation issues using appropriate care techniques.
Assist with triage in emergency situations to prioritise patient care effectively.
Operate emergency vehicles safely, including driving to and from event sites.
Conduct documentation of patient care reports accurately and promptly using EPCR.
Engage in ongoing professional development to maintain certification standards and stay current with medical practices.

Requirements

Valid as a FREC 4 or equivalent certification recognised within the UK healthcare system
Proven experience in critical care environments or hospital settings is highly desirable
Demonstrated proficiency in immediate life support (ILS).
Strong understanding of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and aseptic procedures.
Ability to perform physical examinations confidently and accurately assess patient conditions.
Experience in triage procedures and managing emergencies.
Valid driving licence with a clean driving record; ability to operate emergency vehicles safely. (Preffered)
Physical capability for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or moving in demanding environments.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care and safety standards at all times.
