Overview

We are seeking a talented and self-motivated Nail Technician to operate independently within a flexible working environment. This role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality nail services, including manicures, pedicures, and specialised nail art, to a diverse clientele. As a self-employed professional, you will have the autonomy to set your own schedule and build your personal brand while delivering exceptional customer care. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a passion for beauty and aesthetics, and experience in makeup application. This position is suitable for individuals who are organised, professional, and eager to grow their own business within the beauty industry.

Responsibilities

Perform a range of nail treatments including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and specialised nail art.
Apply makeup services as requested by clients to enhance their overall look.
Deliver outstanding customer service by understanding client needs and providing personalised recommendations.
Maintain a clean and hygienic workspace in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Manage appointments efficiently whilst ensuring punctuality and professionalism.
Build strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and positive word-of-mouth referrals.
Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in nail art, beauty treatments, and makeup application techniques.
Handle product sales and promote retail items where appropriate to enhance client satisfaction.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Nail Technician with a portfolio of work demonstrating skill in various nail treatments and makeup application.
Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to engage confidently with clients from diverse backgrounds.
Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
Organised with the ability to manage appointments effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
Knowledge of health and safety standards related to beauty treatments and hygiene practices.
Self-motivated with entrepreneurial spirit; capable of managing your own business operations.
Additional skills such as makeup application are desirable but not essential; training can be provided if necessary.

This role offers flexibility for those looking to establish or expand their freelance beauty career while delivering exceptional services in a professional setting.

Pay: £12.21-£31.91 per hour
