About Tikkas

Tikkas is an Indian fast fine food restaurant based in Central London near Oxford Circus. We're focused on fresh, tasty, and premium quality chicken tikka, served in bowls, wraps, salads, and more.

This is our first location in the heart of London, our flagship store, and an exciting opportunity to be part of the team right from the very beginning. Role Overview

As a Front of House Team Member at Tikkas, you'll be the face of the brand. You'll welcome guests, take orders, serve food, and ensure every customer enjoys a welcoming and memorable experience. This role is suited to people who are well-presented, confident communicators with cheerful personalities who enjoy engaging with customers in a fast-paced, social-media-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

Welcome and serve customers with a warm, professional, and cheerful attitude.
Take customer orders and handle payments at the counter.
Assemble and present food orders to Tikkas' standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation in customer and service areas.
Follow food hygiene, health & safety, and brand standards at all times.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
Work efficiently during peak hours to ensure smooth service.
Collaborate with team members to create a supportive and fun working environment.
Feature confidently in photos and short videos for Tikkas' social media.

What We're Looking For

Excellent presentation skills and a professional appearance – you'll be the face of Tikkas.
Strong English communication skills – clear, confident, and engaging.
Friendly, approachable, and cheerful personality with the ability to interact positively with customers.
Customer service skills – proactive in ensuring every guest feels valued.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stay calm under pressure.
Team player – reliable, punctual, and supportive of colleagues.
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and busy holiday periods.
Comfortable and confident being camera-friendly for social media content.
Previous hospitality or customer service experience is helpful but not required (full training and development provided).

Location & Hours

Based at: Tikkas, 1 Great Titchfield Street, Oxford Circus, Central London
Shifts between 11:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m.
Flexible schedules available (both full-time and part-time roles).

Contract Type

Permanent positions available (full-time and part-time).

Uniform & Training

Branded uniform provided.
