2-month paid internship, with potential to extend to 3 months
This role will sit in the Social & Video team. You will be responsible for editing, packaging, and uploading content for creators across Snapchat, Facebook, MSN, and other platforms.
At Swift, we work with a range of creators across the US and UK, from Beard Meats Food to Chris Spargo, and many in between. Your role will involve editing their content from its original YouTube format to suit other platforms, such as Facebook, Snapchat, TikTok, among others.
We will teach you the formats preferred by each creator, and you will pick up many tricks and tips about editing a perfect video for each platform.
Minimal experience needed, you must be able to edit, ideally in Premiere Pro, but we don't care if you have a degree or you're self-taught.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit YouTube content to best fit other social media platforms
- Work around stubborn graphics and on-screen text
- Enhance videos to achieve best-in-class viewer retention rates
- Learn video analytics to improve your edits over time
- Uphold the authenticity and integrity of the creator's content at all times
Background and Experience
- Video editing experience - can be self-taught (Premiere Pro preferred)
- Experience working on social-first content is a bonus
- Good knowledge of all social media platforms (Personal use is fine)
- An eye for video content destined to go viral
- Keen interest in social video content
